Just 55 is a 55 minute All Age Worship Service held every Sunday at 5pm in the Bridge Community Centre, Ballarat Street, East Belfast.

| Why Just 55 |
Just 55 began two years ago to address two key issues.
The Lagan Village/Ravenhill Road is a distinct community within Willowfield Parish and Just 55 was set up to provide an opportunity for this local community to worship God in a culturally relevant way.
The area experiences social deprivation and for many young mums with children the provision of a meal each Sunday is not only welcome, but in some cases essential.

| Who comes to Just 55 |
The Bridge Community Centre provides a number of regular activities for children, and the venue is ‘seen’ locally as a place for the ‘kids’. Therefore Just 55, with its emphasis on All Age Worship is very attractive to children. We keep a weekly attendance register of school age children. There are currently 50 children registered with an average weekly attendance of 24. There are 11 adults and then the Just 55 team of 7 adults.

What happens
at Just 55 |
Just 55 takes place in the main sports hall at the Bridge Community Centre. We continually change and adapt the layout of the room to fit with a flexible and creative program.
Great emphasis is put on imparting the Christian story through interaction, creativity and fun.
A typical session could include registration, welcome, game, quiz, DVD, songs, craft activity, interactive teaching, creative prayer and food. Each week the whole worship experience is around a two-course meal.
At the end of Just 55, it’s ‘all hands to the deck’ to help tidy up.

| The future of Just 55 |
Just 55 plays an important role in helping to meet some of the social and spiritual needs of the local community. Willowfield Parish Community Association have employed a Church Army Evangelist, Stephen Plumb to be responsible for Just 55 and developing the outreach work at Refresh, a community project in the same street as the Just 55 venue. It is hoped that these two initiatives working to complement each other will further the work of the gospel in the local community.
