Refresh is a new mission initiative, by WPCA,
based at 91 Ravenhill Road.
Stephen Plumb along with a small team of volunteers
is seeking to serve and minister
to the local community.

| Tuesday & Thursday |
Refresh is open for two ‘drop in’ sessions, (Tuesday 10.30-12.30, Thursday 2-4) where there is the opportunity for people to come into the building to enjoy a free cuppa and bun and make new friends.

| Wednesday |
Once a month on a Wednesday evening there is ‘special’ social event, last month’s was a bingo and curry night.
|
| What Else? |
Refresh recently hosted a men’s health evening, which was so popular, that men had to wait outside until there was room.
|
| Tuesday Alpha |
On Tuesday evenings a group of adults who recently completed an Alpha course, meet to continue to ask questions about the relevance of the Christian faith.
|
| Community Gathering |
Refresh is also made available to other community groups. A group for adults with learning disabilities meet once a month, as do a prayer group made up of Bridge trustees. A recent community survey that we carried out, showed that there is a need for a space/time for families to do ‘stuff’ together, and also similar for those adults who struggle with alcohol and other addictions. It would be great to develop a program to meet this need.
